I mentioned in my first post this month that much had happened in the year since I last posted. One of those things was turning my passion into a growing business - introducing The Visual Effect ICA LLC.

At The Visual Effect ICA LLC, we believe that your image is more than just what you wear—it’s a reflection of your confidence, professionalism, and personal story. Our mission is to help individuals cultivate an authentic and empowered presence that aligns with their goals, whether that’s landing a new job, earning a promotion, or simply feeling comfortable in their own skin.

How It All Began

My journey into visual image consulting began with a passion for personal transformation. I know firsthand how the way you feel about how you look directly impacts your confidence and the way you navigate the world. I have always been fascinated by the power of clothing, grooming, and presentation, not just in shaping how others percieve us, but in how we perceive ourselves. Over time, I saw a gap—many people, especially college students and young professionals, weren’t fully aware of how their image could impact their personal and professional success. The Visual Effect ICA LLC was created from a desire to bridge this gap and help people step into their fullest potential with confidence. Listening to the women I've worked with, both in my business and before I even had a business, when I was just helping friends, motivated me to take a leap of faith and use my talents and passion to make a meaningful impact.

For me, visual image consulting isn’t just about picking the right outfit—it’s about helping you find the confidence you need to take the next step in life. Whether that step is applying for your dream job, walking into a networking event with self-assurance, or embracing a new life transition, your image plays a key role.

I love seeing my clients transform—not just in the way they dress, but in the way they see themselves. • Personal styling and wardrobe consulting - helping you to define a style that reflects your personality and goals - Assisting job seekers, young professional and seasoned professionals looking to elevate their presence.

• Presenting & Facilitating Workshops - leading presentations and interactive workshops designed to educate and empower individuals on visual imaging and branding. Guiding college students, job seekers, and working with nonprofit organizations in understanding how to craft a strong personal and professional presence.

• Thrift & Sustainable fashion consulting - Helping clients build stylish, sustainable wardrobes with a focus on items from second hand and consignment shops.

• Event and special occasion styling - Ensuring you look and feel your best for the important moments of your life.

I have had the opportunity to work on many exciting projects; including a pop-up shop for college students where I transformed my department's office space into a retail experience. I will be sharing more about that very soon, It was such a fun experience. And if you. need help with something I haven't done before, ask me about it! I am always up for a challenge and love learning something new along the way.

I also integrate professional development into my consulting—because looking the part is only one piece of the puzzle. In addition to having my consulting business, I work in career and professional development at a University. I use this experience to help college students and young professionals understand how their image affects their career trajectory, offering guidance on networking, career fairs, interviews, and personal branding.
